Good news for Bodmin Saints. We have had a very good reaction from a very talented bunch of lads and will continue with our plans to form two youth teams. One team - under sixteens - will be managed and coached by Dylan J Cushen. Below is a potted history of Dylan's football career.
The side will play in either yellow and blue and green and white or orange, firstly in friendlies and hopefully in the East Cornwall Youth League for season 2010 -2011.
Pablo
I have loved football since I knew what football was, had a natural
talent and passion for it so played it daily since I could walk. (Yes I
can walk, but sometimes not in a straight line)!
I've played in
the Cornwall League for just about a decade, I started at St Austell
who folded and went to St Blazey, I left and joined Falmouth town where
I scored hattricks, double hat-tricks, and triple hat-tricks, averaging
a brace per game for two seasons in which I won the leading goal scorer
cup. I then moved to St Columb Minor where I scored 5 on my debut and
went on to then win the leading goal scorer cup for another two
seasons. I took some time off then had a short spells at Roche and
Charlestown and now strike for St Blazey where I am very happy and
valued greatly.
I gained my Level 1 1st4Sport Football Coaching
badge, Child Protection and Emergency First Aid at Cambourne College in
June 2009.
I helped coach Charlestown Youth 4,5 & 6 year olds for a short time and the U15 girls in 2008-9.
I
occasionally help St Blazey out with coaching at present also but am
very excited to embark on coaching the lads and holding a managerial
postion with the Saints.
Look out Zola here I come! Irons!
